Who is Colin Cochrane?

Well, I'm a 24 year old Web Developer turned SEO Analyst (though I still do quite a bit of web development anyway).  I'm living in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia .  I spend my days at work, and my nights working on personal projects and writing.

As far as Web Development goes, I specialize in ASP.NET, and am something of a web standards vigilante. Nothing is quite as satisfying as seeing my HTML Validation toolbar flash that green checkmark after I've worked on a page.  On the SEO side of the fence, I enjoy using my development experience to bring a different perspective into my job, and have created several tools that assist myself and my coworkers in our analysis of sites.

Writing about myself in this sort of context bothers me, and I really don't enjoy doing it.  Nonetheless, I felt I should have more than one sentence about me in here for those who took the time to find out who I am.  I will probably augment this page with more content in the future, but this is all I can bear to write at the moment.
